User Stories: Portsmouth Regional Hospital

January is a harsh month in Northern New England. Systems are operating at or near design capacities with little room for down time. Portsmouth Regional Hospital of Portsmouth, NH experienced this first hand when they lost a 250HP boiler due to cracked boiler tubes. Northeast responded with "Mission Critical Service" to ensure the hospital could keep patient environments stable.

Following is an excerpt from the Vice President of Engineering of P.R. Hospital:

"As you will remember, one of our two 250 HP boilers developed cracks in it's tubes during one of the coldest spells this area has seen in years. As record low temperature prevailed, and while fearing the loss of our remaining boiler, Northeast Mechanical pulled together a team of talented professionals who, within a short 30 hour period, coordinated the rental, transportation, setup, tie-in, certification, and start-up of a 350 HP rental boiler. Your efforts helped keep this Hospital operational and supporting the communities medical needs.

I have an enormous respect for the work ethic and determination your people exhibited during this entire project. Working under arduous, sub-zero, weather conditions, they never wavered from the task at hand. Please thank everyone, office and field personnel alike, who supported this project. Portsmouth Hospital then purchased a new Cleaver Brooks Premium Firetube 300HP boiler from Northeast.
